April 2009 - Villa Triglav at Pokljuka is currently the host of an Italian professional cyclist Morris Possoni who is making good use of great training conditions to prepare for the races ahead.
 


The 25-year-old from Bergamo, a member of Columbia High Road American professional cycling team, plans to stay until 25 April. Afterwards, he is leaving for the Tour de Romandie and Giro d’Italia.



Morris has been very satisfied with the training conditions so far. »The weather, apart from some rain patches, has been perfect. There's little traffic in this region to make room for optimal trainings. This is the biggest difference from the Northern Italy where I usually train. The time trial track from Bled to Bohinj is one of my favourites and I also like the Soriška Planina and Pokljuka climbs«, said Morris who also praised the entire Villa Triglav team and once again thanked them for their kind support.



He has completed several difficult trainings with Tadej Valjavec. »Possoni is warmly welcomed and he has been a wonderful training partner. I feel better with each day and I'm looking forward to the start of the Tour de Romandie,« added Tadej who is starting Giro del Trentino race next week to get back into the racing spirit and hopefully prepare well for his most important races.
